Pacific Whale Foundation's FREE Coral Reef Information Station

Learn the names of the fish you can see while snorkeling and take part in a free guided morning reef tour led by a knowledgeable marine naturalist at our FREE Coral Reef Information Station. The stations are a public environmental education service provided by Pacific Whale Foundation and supported by Hawaii Tourism Authority and the County of Maui Department of Economic Development.

Located at Ulua Beach in Wailea on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Located at Kahekili Park (Airport Beach) in Kaanapali on Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays starting June 1st.

An expert naturalist will be there from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please note: The guided reef tour is ONLY offered at 9:00 am at Ulua and 10:00 am at Kahekili. Please bring your own snorkel equipment, as we can not provide it for you. For more information, call Pacific Whale Foundation at 244-8391 or from the U.S. Mainland at 1-800-942-5311. Directions to each location:

Ulua Beach: Located in Wailea, south of Kihei. Take South Kihei Road and follow signs to Wailea. Go one driveway past the Renaissance Hotel turn Right where the sign says Mokapu Beach, Ulua Beach. You will see a big parking lot with free parking.

Kahekili Beach Park (Airport Beach): Located in Kaanapali.Take Route 30 (the Honoapiilani Hwy.) to Kai Ala Drive (one traffic light north of Kaanapali Parkway, opposite the Kaanapali station of the Sugar Cane Train railroad). Turn towards the ocean. Road ends at the beach parking lot.
