| Navigating Change |
The goal of Navigating Change is to motivate, encourage
and challenge people to take action to improve the environmental conditions
in their own backyards, especially as it pertains to our coral reef
ecosystems. We want people to take responsibility for the stewardship
and sustainability of our islands and our ocean. We are targeting
our message to the youth of Hawai`i because the future is in their
hands. Classroom videos, teacher curriculum and more are available

| Introduced Marine Species of Hawaii: Bishop
Museum and University of Hawaii |
This brief guide was assembled to provide information
concerning some of the most common marine alien species to people
who spend time in the coastal waters of Hawaii. Some of the more recent
discoveries of alien species have been made by photographers and aquarium
collectors. It is hoped that when individuals observe animals not
previously seen, they will bring them to the attention of the appropriate
people. This guidebook is by no means comprehensive. An additional
250+ species of algae and animals are not yet included. |
